Re: Root Infinix hot8 X650D
After Enabling OEM Unlocking and USB Debugging mode, boot the device into fastboot mode (in recovery mode > reboot bootloader), open CMD from the root file's folder, connect the device to your computer and type the command below then post the result (screenshot).
Code: Select all
fastboot devices

You're not following proper. Like I said in my last reply, "Manually boot the device into fastboot mode" (in recovery mode > reboot bootloader). Then connect the device and follow the rest of the steps (from setp 3) in the Root Instruction.

I think you're missing some steps. Please Enable USB Debugging Mode & OEM Unlocking, then manually boot the device into fastboot mode. Now, connect the device (in fastboot mode) to your computer and follow the Root Instruction. First, Unlock Bootloader then flash the Root File (recovery.img)

Re: Root Infinix hot8 X650D
I follow steps carefully. I enabled usb debugging and oem unlock. After it i manually boot my phone in fastboot mode. Then i connect the phone to the computer. I write command ''.\adb reboot bootloader'' and it writes to me that devices is unauthorized.RomShillzz wrote: ↑Fri Jul 10, 2020 1:54 pmI think you're missing some steps. I come back and enter again the first command ''.\adb devices'' and it shoes me my serie and write ''atached''. Then i tap on the command ''adb reboot bootloader'' and it writes me again ''error: devices unauthorized''
I think that this phone developer Didn't allow bootloader unlocking. May be .
I read on google that all Android don't allow bootloader unlocking. May be my phone is one of them.
I'll change it and take Samsung Galaxy A10s to root it cause i need root access on Android.
Thank you very much for your help sir!

Re: Root Infinix hot8 X650D
No, you are totally wrong! After manually booting the device into fastboot mode, open the root file's folder, hold the SHIFT key and right-click on any empty space inside the folder. Select Open Powershell here (for Windows 8 & 10) or Open Command here (for Windows 7). Now, connect the device to your computer and type the commands below:
after unlocking the device bootloader, manually boot the device into fastboot mode again, connect the device to your computer and flash the recovery.img using the commands below:
After flashing the recovery img file, Install Magisk Manager.
Code: Select all
fastboot devices
fastboot oem unlock
fastboot reboot
Code: Select all
fastboot flash boot recovery.img
fastboot reboot
