How To Successfully Flash Oppo Android Devices Using MSM Download Tool

This is a tutorial on How To Successfully Flash Oppo Android Devices Using MSM Download Tool. If your Oppo device has a boot loop issue or your device is passworded (Screen lock or Pin lock), or your Oppo device has any other software-related issue, here is a fix for you!

Important Notice:

If you have any queries, problems and questions or you experience any difficulties while using this tool, kindly post them here and I will get back to you with a solution to your queries.

WARNING!
Flashing will erase all of your data
All described operations you are doing at your own risk.


Requirements:
In order to successfully flash your Oppo Android device, you need to have the following:

  • Firmware of the Oppo Android device you want to flash.

Please Note:

Why do you need this Tool?

This tool helps you get rid of the most common problems and errors which occurs when flashing Oppo devices using MSM Download Tool. Some of these errors include:

  • Connect Timeout!
  • Microsoft Status shows as offline, even after using a fast internet connection or fast WiFi connection.
  • Fix MSMDownload Oppo A71 Qualcomm Snapdragon Connect Timepoint.
  • Fix MSMDownload Unauthorized and Hidden Start Button.
  • And the message which appears while flashing any Oppo phone using MSM download tool: “You must use authorized accounts such as A3S, F5, F7, F9 etc..”

How To (Steps):
After getting the above requirements, follow the steps below.

Step 1:
  • Connect your Computer to a "Mobile Hotspot". Don't use a WiFi Connection as you won't be able to flash the device successfully.

Step 2:
  • Extract the downloaded tool, inside you will see the "Oppo All Tools 2018" folder, extract it.

Step 3:
  • After extracting the tool, Open the folder Oppo All Tools 2018 > Opp All Tool > Tool and Launch CodeMeterRuntime.exe and install the setup.

Step 4:
  • After installing the setup, Click finish.

Step 5:
  • Click on the arrow up "˄" (show hidden icons arrow) in your taskbar to unhide the system tray, then click the "no Cmcontatiner connected" icon.

Step 6:
  • Click "File" the click then "Import License ..." button.

Step 7:
  • Navigate to the license folder located at All in One Oppo MsmDownloadTool (With Lifetime Activation) 2019 > MsmDownloadTool Oppo A71 > Oppo All Tools 2018 > Opp All Tool > Tool > OPPOMsmDownloadToolNoneLic_2001 and select it.

Step 8:
  • Now, extract the Firmware of your device.
Step 9:
  • Inside the firmware folder of your device, Launch the MSMDownloadTool inside, you will get a "Connection Timeout!" error.
Step 10:
  • The Start button will not be available as it is hidden and you can't click on it. At the bottom of the tool, you will see "Unauthorized". So let's fix this!
Step 11:
  • Go back and open the Oppo All Tool folder.

Step 12:
  • Launch the ENABLE.exe inside the folder.

Step 13:
  • After lauching the ENABLE.exe, the Start button will now be active but the MSMDownloadTool will still be showing "Unathorized".

Step 14:
  • Close the MSMDownloadTool and click on the Yes button to quit.

Step 15:
  • Now, extract "MsmDownloadTool NoAuth."

Step 16:
  • Go back to the Firmware folder of your device and cut the 2 files.
Step 17:
  • Paste the files you cut into the "MsmDownloadTool NoAuth." folder.
Step 18:
  • After pasting the files into the "MsmDownloadTool NoAuth" folder, launnch "MsmDownloadTool_Djawir.exe." Now the Start button will be active and clickable and the "Unauthorized" error will also be fixed.

Connecting Your Oppo Android Device:


Step 19:
  • Power Off the Oppo Android device, then press and hold the Volume up + Power button together for about 10 secs to boot your Oppo device into Download Mode.

Step 20:
  • Connect the device your Computer, Once the device is connected it will show the COM Port (in the second row) in the MSMDownloadTool.
Step 21:
  • Click on the Start button. Now you will get a format prompt saying “Will format the user data partition, the user’s data will be lost!..” Click Yes
Step 22:
  • Patiently wait for the process to complete. Once the process is completed, you will get a “Download Success” message in the MSMDownload Tool.
Now your Oppo device will restart to its initial setup, All password, screen lock or pin lock will be removed.
