How to use an MTK Secure Boot Download Agent (DA) File

This is a tutorial on How to use an MTK Secure Boot Download Agent (DA) File. DA file is an abbreviation for Download Agent file. It is a "Download Agent" As the name implies, due to security reasons, phone manufacturing companies has introduced a secure boot system on their devices.

They are very useful, as without them you can't access the secure boot device's internal storage or perform other software-related operations, like Flashing, FRP, IMEI & Unknown baseband fix, etc...

Requirements:

• MediaTek Secure Boot DA File: viewforum.php?f=75

• Any MTK device supported tool, like SP Flash Tool, Miracle Box, NCK Box, CM2 etc...

Please Note:
* Some MTK Secure Boot DA files work only on specific tools.
* You may rename the DA file to MTK_AllInOne_DA_SP.bin

How to use DA File in SP Flash Tool (Steps):

Step 1:

• Launch the flash_tool.exe.

Step 2:

• Once the SP SP Flash is launched, click on the "Download tab."

Step 3:

• Click on the "choose" button in front of the Download-Agent.

Step 4:

• Navigate to the location of the DA file, highlight it then click Open.

Step 5:

• The DA file should be loaded successfully.

Step 6:

• You may now carry out whatever task you want (i.e Flashing, FRP Bypass etc...), Don't forget to load your scatter file.

How to use DA File in NCK Pro Box (Steps):

Step 1:

• Launch the NckBox AndroidMTK.exe or nckDongle_AndroidMTK.exe (for those using dongle).

Step 2:

• Navigate to the Main tab and click on the "Select custom loader" button in front of the Custom DA Loader.

Step 3:

• Navigate to the location of the DA file, highlight it then click Open.

Step 4:

• The DA file should be loaded successfully and the checkbox ticked automatically.

Step 5:

• You may now carry out whatever task you want (i.e Flashing, Unlocking, FRP Bypass, IME Repair etc...).

How to use DA File in Miracle Box (Steps):

Please Note: Selection of DA files in Miracle Box is only available from Miracle Box v2.75 and above.


Step 1:

• Launch the Miracle Box. Once the Miracle Box is launched, click on the "Custom Setting" tab.

• Click on the "DA File" button.

Step 3:

• Navigate to the location of the DA file, highlight it then click Open.

Step 4:

• The DA file should be loaded successfully. Now click on the checkbox to enable the DA file.

Step 5:

• You may now switch to other tabs to carry out whatever task you want (i.e Flashing, Unlocking, FRP Bypass, IME Repair etc...).
