Are you experiencing some difficulties when flashing a MediaTek (MTK) Android device using SP Flash Tool, Miracle Box or any other MTK Supported tool? When flashing the device, as it is in progress, it stops counting after some percentage and with time pops-up with an unsuccessful result or an error message, If so, here is a fix for you!
Most devices which you are likely to face these issues with when flashing them are those devices with in-built battery. Sometimes during the flashing process, the device would format successfully, but when it starts downloading, reaching to some percentage (maybe 7%, 21%, 50%, etc...) it stops counting!
How To Fix:
#1. The first thing you need to Unscrew the device. After that, Disconnect the battery, Cover the battery terminal with a piece of paper or masking take (so it won't clip when cloosing with the back case).
#2. Now load the Firmware on SP Flash Tool (or any MTK Supported Tool) and flash the device without the battery.
Note: Don't forget to hold the boot key (Vol up + Vol down button) so the device would get connected to your PC.
The flashing process this time around could take a lot of time up-to/lesser or more than an hour (the time taken differs anyway). You can see the attachment below as a prove (the flashing process took 61 min: 19secs which is an hour plus).
#3. After a scuccessful flash, Re-connect the battery, Boot device to recovery menu and Perform a hard reset.
Now your the device should boot & work fine!
If this worked for you, use the thanks button!
