This is a tutorial on how to fix storage type mismatch when flashing firmware using SP Flash Tool.

scatter storage type is HW_STORAGE_EMMC
target storage type is HW_STORAGE_NONE

Requirements:
- SP Flash Tool v3.xx (any sp flash tool version 3) download at [ Please, Login to view this link]
After getting the above requirement, follow the steps below.
Step 1:
- Launch SP Flash v3.xx.
Step 2:
- Select the scatter file.
Step 3:
- Click on format.
Step 4:
- Select Auto Format Flash > Format whole flash then click ok and connect device.
Step 5:
- After a successful format, click on Download, when you get the Download Warning prompt, click Yes & connect the device.
